A refined architectural timber cladding system by Hurford’s

Combining the ancient Japanese craft of fire treatment with a precision milled cladding profile, Shou Sugi Ban by Hurford’s is a contemporary solution for achieving a sleek, architectural look.

A complete system for exterior walls, the Shou Sugi Ban cladding is available with a selection of customised trims and fixings to ensure a streamlined execution and watertight result.

Hurford’s uses a modernised Shou Sugi Ban technique that evenly chars the face of the board for a consistent result, before they are finished with Feast Watson Timber and Deck Stain in Black Japan.

Shou Sugi Ban is available in Australian hardwoods up to BAL 29, as well as cypress pine.
