SPEED UP TRUSS INSTALLATION – REPLACE L BRACKETS WITH PRYDA INTERNAL WALL SCREWS

SAVE UP TO FOUR HOURS INSTALLATION TIME*

FastFixTM Internal Wall Screw (IWS) is an innovative new solution from Pryda that replaces the traditional and often incorrectly installed L Bracket, which connects the bottom chords to the internal wall frames.

A placement guide positions the screw vertically, with the correct off-sets to ensure it is driven up through the vertical centreline of the truss and the wall every time.

*Time savings are dependent on factors such as the size of the build, number of people installing the truss and frame system, choice of tools and methods of installation.

Save up to 3-4 hours installing trusses*

Pryda FastFix™ Internal Wall Screw (IWS) consigns L brackets to history. With the IWS, builders can replace six nails and a bracket with one screw and a placement guide to secure bottom chords to the internal wall frames.

The placement guide positions the screw vertically, with the correct off-sets to ensure it is driven up through the vertical centreline of the truss and the wall every time. The 5mm hex screw comes with a tip that ensures a quick start and reduces the likelihood of splitting timber.

  • A fast, compliant connection
  • Real time savings in installation – up to half a day
  • Lines up perfectly every time
  • Installed from below the top plate, making it a safer work site
  • With the IWS, builders can work just two rungs up a ladder

*Time savings are dependent on factors such as the size of the build, number of people installing the truss and frame system, choice of tools and methods of installation.

The IWS takes the time and labour out of tedious L Bracket connections, and replaces it with smart thinking, saving you money with a fast, compliant connection.

Forget about L-Brackets

Driving in a screw from underneath the top plate is a faster way to work compared to driving six nails into a bracket.

No more call-backs

Poorly located nails, or over tightened connections causing cornice and ceiling cracks, are history.

Remove guesswork

The absence of screw head removes the risk of over tightening and allows the truss to move freely up and down while maintaining superior lateral stability of the internal wall.

Work safer and faster

The screw and guide combo reduces time working at height and makes it easier for the builder to maintain three points of contact and the job can be finished in a fraction of the time taken to install L Brackets.
