It’s been an exciting time at Dahlsens, with not one but two grand openings across north-western Victoria and some lucky local builders walking away with fantastic prizes!
First up was Dahlsens Mildura, where we celebrated the opening of our brand-new, purpose-built trade store at 712–720 Benetook Avenue on Monday 2 June. More than 80 tradies turned up for an evening packed with product demos, supplier chats and good vibes. The highlight of the night? Brett Harvey from Brett Harvey Plastering took home a brand-new Quintrex F420 Explorer Trophy boat with a 50hp Yamaha motor, valued at over $35,000!
The timber was officially cut by fifth-generation Chairman Geoff Dahlsen, marking the opening of the new store. Fourth-generation family owner John Dahlsen spoke about our ongoing commitment to regional builders.
“Dahlsens has been a proud supporter of builders in Mildura for many years. The new store makes it even easier for builders and tradies to get the materials and expert support they need, when they need it.”
Then on Wednesday 4 June, the celebrations continued in Dahlsens Swan Hill at our new location at 222–224 Karinie Street. Another fantastic crowd of local builders joined us for an evening of supplier showcases, food and fun. Congratulations to local builder and long-time Dahlsens customer Mark Seneia, who took out the major prize on the night!
Mildura Branch Manager Paul Fraser summed it up perfectly.
“We’re proud of the long-standing relationships we’ve built with local tradies. Launching the new store with such great support—and a boat giveaway—was an awesome way to mark the next chapter.”
A big thank you to everyone who came along to the events in Swan Hill and Mildura. We’re excited to be part of your local community and can’t wait to keep building together.
Thanks also to major prize sponsors Pryda, Everdeck by Timberlink, Hyne Timber, James Hardie and Meyer Timber.
Also, thanks to all the supplier experts who came along and showed us the latest products and solutions available.
