Why builders choose FIRECOAT™
BAL-40 fire resistance for exteriors
FIRECOAT™ Exterior is the world’s first intumescent paint system to achieve a BAL-40 rating, tested in a NATA-accredited lab. It expands to form a barrier when exposed to extreme heat or flame, protecting the underlying surface and putting a stop to the spread of the flames on a wide range of external surfaces.
Certified interior protection
FIRECOAT™ Interior holds the highest flame-retardant rating under EN 13501-1 (Bs1/d0) and is ideal for internal timber, MDF, plywood and plasterboard. It slows fire spread inside the home, providing vital extra time in the event of a fire.
Simple, no-fuss application
Applies just like regular paint – use a brush,
roller, or spray. No special tools needed.
Can be overcoated with any water-based coloured paint
Tested, award-winning and made in Australia
Developed in partnership with the University of NSW, FIRECOAT™ is made locally and recognised with multiple national innovation awards.
